A0-A1: Your First Steps in Maltese

Start from zero and build a foundation in the essentials of the language.

You'll master: 

  • The Maltese Alphabet and pronunciation
  • Personal pronouns and the verb 'to be'
  • Introducing yourself and talking about where you're from
  • Articles, nouns, people, places, and animals
  • Food, drinks, and adjectives
  • Demonstrative and possessive pronouns
  • 28 high-frequency verbs in the present tense
  • Negation, imperatives, and prepositions
  • Numbers, time, and question words
By the end of this course, you'll be able to hold short conversations, ask and answer simple questions, and navigate daily life in Maltese. 

A1-A2: Living the Language

Take your learning further with real-world communication skills and deeper grammar structures.

You'll learn: 

  • Everyday routines and describing people
  • Shopping, quantities, and life around the house
  • Weather, seasons, and the past simple tense
  • Continuous tenses (present and past)
  • Transport, directions, hobbies, and plans
  • Vocabulary for health, work, media, and technology 
Each topic combines authentic dialogue, grammar explainers, and interactive activities that build fluency and cultural understanding step by step.
