Partners

At Verbivore, we believe that education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. That’s why we collaborate with NGOs and social enterprises that share our mission to make high-quality learning accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Our partnerships directly support UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, helping marginalised learners, refugees, displaced students, and underserved communities, gain the language skills they need to thrive academically and professionally.

Whether it’s co-developing digital courses, launching pilot programs, or distributing scholarships, our partners are at the heart of our impact.

Svitlo Education
UK

Svitlo Education, a Registered Charity number 1201542, started with one person’s vision and prompt action following the start of the war in Ukraine. Yuliya Kosko, the school’s Ukrainian founder and education expert living in the UK, organised a few English lessons by native speakers for the children of Zaporizhzhye on 14th March 2022. Now, nearly 2000 Ukrainian students aged between 10 and 18, a team of Ukrainian helpers and over 60 volunteer teachers have created a unique online community of learning, sharing and support.

Blue Door Education
Malta

Blue Door Education (VO/2165) is an NGO in Valletta, Malta. Our team of passionate and compassionate volunteers is dedicated to providing free literacy, language and life skill classes, both in person and online, for adult refugees and asylum seekers, and adult migrants with a social worker referral. Education enables upward social mobility, and each additional skill can mean higher income, leading to better access to nutritious food, sanitation, healthcare and accommodation. The hands-on linguistic first aid and practical skills courses we provide help refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in in Malta with dignity, equity and confidence.

Spark15
Malta

Spark15 was born in 2015 when UNHCR Malta organised a seminar as part of the Global Youth Consultations. During the seminar, a young group of refugees who had formed friendships while attending MCAST (the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology), decided to start advocating for youth issues affecting the refugee community.
Following the seminar, the group was officially formed to encourage other young refugees to become active participants and agents of inclusive societies in Malta and beyond.
